TRX Suspension Training

All Core, All the Time!

Welcome to the most intense, heart-pounding, core strengthening workout that Yoga West has to offer.  Work up a sweat.  Strengthen muscles you didn’t even know you had.  Achieve new levels of flexibility.  And have fun laughing with the others about how crazy hard this is.  And with every single movement, know that your core is involved, getting stronger and leaner than ever.  All Core, All the Time.  That is the mantra of TRX.  Once you try it, you will understand why!   

What is TRX?  TRX stands for Total Body Resistance Exercise, and was created by Navy Seals out of their need to stay in shape while out on missions without access to a gym.  TRX is suspension training using a simple strap and your own body weight to build strength and endurance, and getting the benefits of a cardio-vascular workout, as well.  (Note “heart-pounding” above).  

From the very first class, you will see that this is great, body changing, results producing stuff, and you will want more.  You will feel your heart pounding and your abs quivering, and will know you have found one of the most efficient exercise routines you can do for total body conditioning.  And here is the beauty…..TRX classes at Yoga West will incorporate yoga moves into the classes as well, to amp up your flexibly, with a bonus suspended relaxation at the end, for pure exhausted bliss.  TRX workouts at Yoga West are being offered in a boot camp style format, with your choice of 8 or 12 classes per month, so that you can progress at your own pace.

The following training sessions are offered in January: 

Tues/Thurs  5:30 AM
Tues/Thurs  8:15 AM
Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs 9:30 AM
Mon/Thurs    7:30 PM
Saturday      7:30 AM  

This type of training is not recommended on a drop in or occasional basis and full commitment is preferred, and allows you to reserve your space in class.  Drop in fee is $25 per class, and you must register and pay for the specific class that you would like to try through our online store. If there is space available in that class, the purchase will be completed. If you try one class and then decide that you want to purchase an 8 or 12 class card, the $25 will be applied to the cost of the card.

Investment: 

Purchase either an 8 class card for $150 or a 12 class card for $175. Cards are good for one month, and all sessions must be reserved if you wish to guarantee your space in the class. New session begins on the first day of each month. You can register for any session for the upcoming month online at any time. Payment reserves your space. Priority enrollment is given to currently enrolled particpants.
 
We appreciate that many of you are committed to your yoga practice as well, and we honor that!  Bundle any 8 or 12 class card with unlimited yoga for the month for only $50 more.

Please note there are no extensions or make-ups for missed classes.  If you are going to miss a class, you can send a friend in your place, but there are no refunds for unused classes in a session. 

This is important.  There are no make-ups, extensions, or refunds for any missed classes.  No exceptions.  If you cannot attend a class, you may cancel your reservation online for up to 6 hours prior to the start of the class, and then reserve a spot in another class.  Or, you can transfer that class to someone else so that the space is utilized in the class, but Yoga West will not facilitate those transfers.  This is a highly specialized training program with very limited space, so be sure you can commit before you join.  But once you make the commitment, it will be worth it!  You will see results!
