Yoga can help to increase your overall strength and
flexibility, even when pregnant.  Prenatal yoga is a
great way to connect with yourself and your baby, and
prepare your mind and body for the journey ahead.  
Connecting your mind and your body with yoga can
result in an overall state of well being:  feeling strong,
calm, and flexible.

All levels of students are welcome, from the beginner to
the more advanced.  Classes are gentle and focused on
bringing awareness to your body and your baby.
Prenatal Yoga
Having a baby can be very demanding, both physically and emotionally.  Yoga
can give you much needed support during this time of changing responsibilities.  
These Mommy and Me Yoga classes provide an opportunity for you to regain
strength and flexibility, to bond with your baby, and to connect with other moms.
 Focus is on simple poses to restore energy, strength, and flexibility, with extra
attention on the shoulders, core and lower back, as well as breathing exercises to
calm the nerves and promote relaxation.  And share the yoga with your little one!  
Learn poses to aid in sleep and digestion, while taking a few minutes to bond with
your new baby.
The classes are relaxed, with no expectations about how the babies should
behave.  All you need to bring is a yoga mat and a blanket for your baby.  Breaks
are encouraged any time to nurture or feed your baby. Classes are designed for
babies from about 6 weeks to 1 year, and their caregivers.

In these introduction to yoga classes, children will use their
bodies and their imaginations to become trees, horses, lions,
and so many other wonderful things. Yoga helps children
with stretching and strengthening, focus, breathing, and
relaxation.

These classes are designed for children from ages 2 - 5.  
Caregivers are encouraged to stay and participate!

Prenatal yoga is offered Mondays at 5:45 PM

Mommy and Me Yoga is offered Mondays at
1:00 PM, beginning September 14, 2009.  Classes
run through December 14, 2009.  Classes are not
held on Katy ISD holidays.

Young Yogis is offered Mondays at 2:00 PM,
beginning September 14, 2009.  Classes run
through December 14, 2009.  Classes are not held
on Katy ISD holidays.
Class Fees

Prenatal Yoga - regular Yoga West tuition applies,
either unlimited or class card

Mommy and Me Yoga - full session is $130, 10 class
card is $115.  If you join the class once the session has
begun, class cards will be prorated for $11.50 are class.

Young Yogis - full session is $130, 10 class card is $115.  
If you join the class once the session has begun, class cards
will be prorated for $11.50 per class.

All drop-ins are $15.
